Healthy increase in order volume for Finkeldei Upholstered Furniture
IMM 2007 is a resounding success / double-figure increase in volume of incoming orders
With an increase in incoming order volume of 24 percent in comparison with the previous year, Finkeldei Upholstered Furniture Manufacture can look back on a very successful IMM furniture fair 2007. A double-figure increase in orders had already been achieved last year. The specialist for classical upholstered furniture thus recorded a significant increase in demand once again, both from customers at home and abroad.
Werner Knoche, Managing Director: “We really hit the mark with our classical-luxurious upholstery creations this year. It seems that more and more people are fed up with the standardised look of purist leather sofas. With our exclusive upholstered furniture designs, we place emphasis on character and warmth rather than uniformity and coolness. And it has certainly paid off for us.“
With its company philosophy consistently applied in practice, the upholstered furniture manufacturer is currently following the trend. Rather than purist coolness, customers are looking for upholstered furniture of cosy opulence. Warm red tones and generously decorated fabrics are on the up, and the tendency is moving towards features in gold and silver, too. Following a period where purist designs dominated, many people are now returning to the classic values and placing more emphasis on cosiness.
“We are very happy with our role as an exclusive trendsetter, and we have fully lived up to our reputation yet again at this trade fair. Finkeldei creates upholstered furniture with character that appeals to all the senses. One fair highlight was our special show, where we presented handmade upholstered furniture with sophisticated crystal gemstone applications from Swarovski.“ explains Werner Knoche.
Between 15th and 21st January, the renowned manufacturer presented more than twenty new models on its exhibition stand. The handmade upholstered furniture was presented in complete living environments, whereby tables, picture, mirrors and lamps contributed to the ambience on the fair stand. The new products presented at the fair included the modern classic suite “Mailin“ and the elegant “Savoy“ sofa with sparkling crystal gemstone applications.
