Finkeldei with record results at the furniture fair in Milan
I Saloni 2010 in Milan was a resounding success
Between 14th and 19th April, Finkeldei showed its exclusive upholstered furniture collection at the furniture fair I Saloni in Milan. The handmade upholstered furniture was presented in complete living environments, whereby tables, picture, mirrors and lamps contributed to the ambience on the fair stand.
Finkeldei looks back on a very successful furniture fair. The numerous orders placed during the I Saloni confirm our strategy of inspiring its international customers with top quality from hand-crafted production.

Due to the overwhelming response to our upholstery creations, we will exhibit once again at the I Saloni 2010 with an even larger and more beautiful stand. Our international success has shown: we are on the right path with our passionate focus on the highest quality and unique design.

Finkeldei looks back on a successful furniture trade fair
Plenty of visitors to the exhibition stand at the IMM 2010
The upholstery furniture manufacturer, Finkeldei, is very pleased with the order books after the international furniture exhibition in Cologne from 19th to 24th January. The result from the previous year was able to be improved upon. Finkeldei has been able to gain plenty of contacts with new domestic and international customers.
The new location of the exhibition stand also proved to be very positive. Finkeldei was able to record an increase in the number of visitors, although a slight decrease in international visitors to the trade fair was noticeable. For this reason, Finkeldei will once again be taking part in the furniture exhibition in Milan in 2010.
The classic-modern highlight among the new products was the Chicago model. Anyone who loves clear lines was convinced by the subtle design of this upholstery programme. The material mix of leather and fabric highlighted the contemporary appearance. Two versions of the Chicago model were presented in Cologne, including one with a new fabric from Joop.
In contrast, fans of classic-luxurious upholstery furniture were delighted by the new products, Katerina and Puccini. Both opulent classics were on show at the trade fair in different versions and fabric combinations. With these models, Finkeldei is targeting enthusiasts for lavish shapes which are particularly in demand in Eastern European and Asian markets.
The Finkeldei collection of exclusive upholstered beds also experienced growth this year: the elegant bed, Natalie, was on show in Cologne with a TV lift in the foot section.

Finkeldei exhibited on High Point Market
Presence in the USA with a permanent showroom
The upholstered furniture manufacturer Finkeldei participated on the “High Point Market” home furnishings fair in the USA this year. From 17th till 22nd of October Finkeldei presented a wide range of products to American trade visitors and interior designers in their showroom at 220 Elm. Visitors could take a look at several upholstered furniture models and accessories on display like Chagall, Savoy and Piccadilly. Each year the “High Point Market” takes place in April and October.
Moreover, Finkeldei successfully operates a permanent showroom with its partner Mercatus at 220 Elm Palliser Building (Showroom 320), North Carolina. Finkeldei also has representatives in Florida, California and Canada. Because of the excellent response on the American market, Finkeldei will continue to expand their activities in the USA.

The new year started successfully for Finkeldei. The manufacture participated in the international furniture fair IMM 2009 in Cologne with a large stand of about 300 sqm. This year`s focus was the Crystal Edition, Finkeldei`s luxurious collection of high class furniture decorated with sparkling crystals from Swarovski.

Finkeldei at the Salon Interior Show 2008 ISIS in Moscow
Great interest in Crystal Edition from Finkeldei
Finkeldei took part in the Salon Interior Show 2008 ISIS in Moscow from 26th to 29th November. On their trade fair stand in the Moscow Manege, the upholstered furniture manufacturers presented the numerous highlights in their collection, with a main focus on the upholstered furniture from Crystal Edition.
This trade fair was visited by trade visitors and end customers in equal numbers. In terms of the business-related outcome, the trade fair was a great success. For this reason, participation is already confirmed for next year.
Finkeldei organised the trade fair together with its partner for overseas sales, Mercatus Hamburg. Finkeldei’s trade fair presence was supported on location by the important trade partners in Russia. An exclusive supporting programme during the trade fair, for example an evening event with well-known designers and architects, provided an opportunity to build on business and personal contacts.
Finkeldei holds in-house exhibition for customers in Eastern Europe
Manufacturer consistently expands international dealer network
From 24th September to 2nd October, Finkeldei Polstermöbelmanufaktur and its Hamburg-based export sales partner, Mercatus, held an exclusive in-house exhibition for customers and potential customers from Eastern Europe. Numerous dealers from Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and the Baltic States took part.
Customers were particularly interested in upholstered furniture of the Crystal Edition, which is decorated with sparkling Swarovski crystals. The numerous orders placed during the in-house exhibition confirm Finkeldei`s strategy of inspiring its customers at home and abroad with top quality from hand-crafted production.
Finkeldei Polstermöbelmanufaktur will continue to expand its efforts in Eastern Europe in future, too, by exhibiting at the Moscow furnishings fair ISIS between 26th and 29th November, for example.
Golden jubilee at Finkeldei Manufaktur
Jubilee celebrations on 21st August 2008 at the Schlosshotel Münchhausen
Half a century is a good reason to celebrate, and at the same time presents an opportunity to remember the successes and experience of the past with friends and associates. For this reason, Finkeldei Polstermöbelmanufaktur celebrated 50 years of company history by holding a gala event. On 21st August, all the employees from administration and sales and the executive management gathered at the Schlosshotel Münchhausen near Hameln to celebrate together what has been achieved, and to make plans for the future.
At the gala celebration, leave was taken of Mr. Dieter Pflaum, who has been a sales representative at Finkeldei for more than 20 years, and has now gone into his well-deserved retirement. Werner Knoche, Managing Director at Finkeldei: “We would like to thank Mr. Pflaum for his excellent cooperation over the years, which was always a plus for us, both in business and personal terms!”
Three weeks before the event, Finkeldei had celebrated the golden jubilee with all the employees of the manufacturing company at an internal event. Werner Knoche: “The fact that the name Finkeldei has an excellent market reputation today is the result of the work of many hands. Our golden jubilee celebration is thus a sign of the work we have done in the past. At the same time, however, our jubilee is a promise. We are going to continue working together on inspiring our customers with the best upholstered furniture.”
Major order for Finkeldei Manufaktur
New luxury hotel with furnishings from Finkeldei
The hotel is still a building site, but that will be a thing of the past on 25th July 2008. This is the date the new four-star hotel "Gran Belveder" in Scharbeutz / Timmendorfer Strand (Germany) will open its doors. The exclusive hotel in the Lübeck Bay has been designed in a completely Mediterranean style.
Finkeldei Manufaktur was commissioned to furnish the whole hotel with exclusive upholstered furniture and other hotel room furnishings. The guests at the Gran Belveder will not only be able to enjoy top Finkeldei seating comfort in the 68 rooms and 15 suites, but also in all public areas such as the restaurant, bar or spa area.
For those looking for a top quality holiday on the Baltic Coast, the Gran Belveder is the perfect place to stay. The hotel will be officially opened on 25th July, followed by two open days on 26th and 27th July. The first guests are expected on 1st August.

Furniture fair IMM is a resounding success for upholstered furniture manufacture
With an increase in incoming order volume of 24 percent in comparison with the previous year, Finkeldei Upholstered Furniture Manufacture can look back on a very successful IMM furniture fair 2007 in Cologne, Germany. The specialist for classical upholstered furniture thus recorded a significant increase in demand once again, both from customers at home and abroad.
Finkeldei really hit the mark with classical-luxurious upholstery creations this year. It seems that more and more people are fed up with the standardised look of purist leather sofas. With exclusive upholstered furniture designs, Finkeldei places emphasis on character and warmth rather than uniformity and coolness.
Between 15th and 21st January, the renowned manufacturer presented more than twenty new models on its exhibition stand. Finkeldei successful on International Furniture Fair 2006 in Cologne
Position as the leading classical luxury specialist confirmed
Finkeldei looks back on a successful International Furniture Exhibition (IMM) 2006 in Cologne: In comparison to the previous year the percentage increase in incoming orders, which the manufacturer could record, had reached double figure growth.
From 16th to 22st January Finkeldei showed new as well as time-tested models on a 320 sq. m exhibition stand. Upholstered furniture was presented in 24 different sets, whereby suitable accessories such as tables, pictures, lamps and mirrors had contributed to the atmosphere on the exhibition stand.
Finkeldei definitely profited from the fact that the manufacturer remains faithful for its character as a leading German specialist in classical luxury upholstered furniture. Who wanted to see something else on the exhibition than sober leather sofas in earthy colours, had to search for a long time and hardly succeeded in finding anything. The clear increasing of the incoming orders confirms the strategy to manufacture classical luxury for connoisseurs also in the future instead of following short-lived trends.
In the context of a special presentation Finkeldei introduced the topic "Upholstery meets Crystal". Here, the sofa "Piccadilly" was presented, whose corpus and scatter cushions are ornamented with noble Swarovski crystal gemstones.

Read in the current issue of the magazine "Boote Exclusiv" about the luxury yacht "Queen M" built by the Lürssen shipyard. A selection of exclusive upholstered furniture was allowed to build and to deliver by Finkeldei for this super yacht following the design of Donald Starkey. It goes without saying that the whole interior equipment depends on highest quality and individuality for such a mega-yacht.
