Exclusive upholstered furniture for the new Maritim Hotel in Berlin
Finkeldei is involved in furnishing the new 4-Star Superior Hotel
On Friday August, 5th, the new Maritim Congress Hotel opened in Berlin close to the Potsdamer Square. And Finkeldei Upholstered Furniture was involved in furnishing this noble hostel.
With this project, Finkeldei could once more demonstrate its ability and know-how in the contract sector of luxurious hotels. Thereby, the exclusive upholstered furniture was not only used in the most noble suites. The hotel features 434 rooms and 71 suites whose most luxurious suite is the biggest in Berlin with 350m². Some of the apartments furnished from Finkeldei are located in the closed Suite-Tower, which is completely secluded, bulletproof and video monitored.
With an event capacity of 5.800 persons, the whole congress market in Berlin will be turned upside down. It goes without saying that the operators depend on highest quality for such a prestige project. Particular for the public areas noble materials and Top-Quality are vital to represent the image of the hotel best possible. The Maritim Hotel Company belongs to the most successful hotel chains in Germany by operating 44 hotels in total.

Russian dealers convinced of Finkeldei-Quality
Delegation visit the manufactury in Nieheim
On May, 12th, a delegation from Russia could get an idea of Finkeldei Upholstered Furniture. 14 Representatives, most of them Directors from furniture dealers all-over Russia, travelled together with the General Management of a Moscow Buying Group to Nieheim. The visit was organized from Moscow. After a cocktail reception the group visisted the production facilities under the guidance of Werner and Alexander Knoche. The guests were visibly impressed and highly interested. After all it is a matter of a very individual production dominated by craftmanship with the goal to manufacture upholstered furniture of highest quality. After a short lunch break, the delegation could visit the exclusive 800m² factory showroom. The gained impressions were then intensified in individual discussions. Hopefully this visit could be the starting point for a successful co-operation with furniture dealers from the different regions all-over Russia.

Also in 2005 Finkeldei Upholstered Furniture was represented with an impressive stand at the International Furniture Fair IMM in Cologne. The reactions on the new collection were entirely positive. Some of the highlights were the modern-classic collection, many noble new fabrics and the new acrylic table range which could set new standards.
